Board of Directors

Mr. Dodeja is one of the directors on the Board of Blackstone Advisors India Private Limited, an advisor to The Blackstone Group Inc. and its affiliated funds. Mr. Dodeja joined Blackstone in 2016 and is currently the Managing Director at Blackstone India. He plays an integral role in the mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets and special situations related initiatives of the firm and takes a lead on all the legal matters in India.

With almost two decades of work experience, Mr. Dodeja advises Blackstone on the acquisition of pre-bankruptcy and stressed assets and acquisitions. Further, in his position as General Counsel of Blackstone, he advises Blackstone portfolio companies. He has extensive experience dealing with lenders, regulators and government agencies across the country. Having won several awards for his deal making ability, he is known as one of the best legal professionals in the country. Mr. Dodeja is also a member of the FICCI Capital Markets Committee and FICCI Committee on Private Equity.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Dodeja was a partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas in Mumbai, where he focused on private equity, mergers and acquisitions transactions, and special situations, and advised many other marquee financial investors. Mr. Dodeja is licensed to practice in India and New York.
